Responsibilities:
- Work alongside experienced technicians and installers to learn the trade.
- Install, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork.
- Test HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality, efficiency, and compliance with local codes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC components and make necessary repairs.
- Assist with parts, tools, deliveries, and installation at job sites
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in confined spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics, basements)
- Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, and bending
- Ability to work at heights, such as on ladders or scaffolding
- Ability to work in various weather conditions for outdoor HVAC installations
- Manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform hands-on tasks
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience as an HVAC installer
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Air Services may conduct a pre-employment background check and drug test, subject to applicable law
